MATCH Formal Wear is a new online venture that began in 2020 as a partnership with Fiancée, a prom, bridal and formal wear company based in North Dakota. Because of this partnership, our experts have more than 35 years of industry experience and know how. You're in great hands with MATCH Formal Wear!

 

Q: How Do I Find the Sizing of the Items?

On each product page there is sizing information for that product depending upon which item you have selected.

 

Q: Can My Groomsmen Place Individual Orders for Their Accessories?

Yes, they can. But it would be best and more cost effective to order all accessories at the same time. This will ensure the same dye lot was used in the production of the items and it will also reduce the overall cost of shipping for your party. Additionally, it is sometimes best for one person to handle the ordering and distribution of the accessories to your participants to reduce confusion or eliminate forgetful purchases.

 

Q: How Do You Color Match?

All of our product colors were matched to dress designer colors (using their satin/chiffon fabric types) by three independent, professional, color consultants using full-spectrum lighting sources. Full-spectrum lighting sources emulate natural light by emitting the entire visible light spectrum. Full-spectrum light is light that covers the electromagnetic spectrum from infrared to near-ultraviolet, or all wavelengths. The sun is considered a full-spectrum, or natural light source.
 
While every attempt was made to formulate the best possible product matches, there are many variables that influence the precision of the match. These factors include:
  • Human Perception: Color is seen and interpreted by the eye differently by different people.
  • Manufacturer Variability: Product manufacturers either make or purchase their fabrics in bulk through a single production run. When the bulk fabric is replenished and reordered, it is possible that subtle changes in the new fabric associated with a new dye lot may produce slight variations in the fabric's color, hue, tint, saturation, or shade. These are usually unnoticeable by the average person.
  • Type of Fabric: The type and texture of a fabric can reflect and refract light differently and may cause a color to appear lighter or darker in different light sources and at different angles. Our color experts matched all of our product colors to the Satin/Chiffon fabric type. If you have a different fabric type, the color may be slightly different.
  • Type of Lighting: Your colors may look slightly different inside versus outside. That's because light sources vary in different locations. It's even possible for colors to look slightly different between different rooms in the same building.

 

Q: Can I Order a Color Swatch to Match My Dress?

Unfortunately we are not able to offer swatches. However, you can achieve the same result by purchasing an inexpensive pocket square in the color and pattern of your choice. Because we want you to get the perfect accessory color to match your dress, we'll cover the shipping cost for your first pocket square!

 

Q: Will The Colors Online Be An Exact Match To The Product I Am Purchasing?

Online images of products and/or print outs of online product colors can vary from actual product colors due to display/monitor or printer settings. To ensure exact matches of all of our products, you should order all products at the same time as dye lots can vary slightly over time. However, all of our products have been carefully paired with the dress manufactures we have identified to ensure the best match. While every attempt was made to formulate the best possible product matches, there are many variables that influence the precision of the match. See the FAQ: "How Do You Color Match?" If you want to be absolutely certain one of our products will match your dress color(s) you should order a single pocket square in the color and pattern of your choice. Because we want you to get the perfect accessory color to match your dress, we'll cover the shipping cost for your first pocket square!

 

Q: How Long Will it Take to Get My Items?

Our products are manufactured according to our customers' specifications. For these reasons, it generally takes five to six weeks from the date of order to receive your products via standard shipping. If you need to receive your items sooner, you can select expedited shipping at checkout. There is a surcharge for rushing your order and moving it ahead of all other orders. If you select expedited shipping, you can receive your order within two to three weeks.

 

Q: Do You Offer Promotional or Discount Codes?

Occasionally we will present special offers to our customers for select merchandise. These coupon codes will be either emailed, direct mailed, or included on our website homepage. The amount of the discount will depend upon the promotion we are running. To use the coupon code, simply copy and paste it into the coupon code box during the checkout process.

 

Q: How Will I Know My Order is Accepted and When My Items Will Ship?

You will receive a confirmation email when your order is submitted and payment has been processed. You will also receive a second email when your item(s) have shipped.

 

Q: How Are My Items Shipped?

Typically your package will be shipped via FedEx, UPS, United States Postal Service, DHL or Spee-Dee, depending on which carrier is the most efficient and cost effective to your address.

We currently ship products within the United States and Canada.

 

Q: How Much Will It Cost To Ship My Merchandise?

Shipping costs are dependent upon the shipping method you chose, the time frame you select for delivery, the location the item(s) is/are being shipped to and weight of the item(s) you have purchased. Your item(s) will be shipped using the most efficient and cost effective carrier to your address.
